In 1981, Dark Tower was released to the public by Milton Bradley. It was the world’s first electronic board game, and it was both beautiful and a lot of fun to play. Unfortunately, it was also partially stolen from a pair of game creators who showed a similarly-structured game to Milton Bradley the previous year. There’s a lot of background surrounding the whole affair, but the practical effect was that this excellent game was only produced for a few years.
