Run by the Barony of Ayerton (a local division of the Society for Creative Anachronism, or SCA): Gaming is as old as Humanity, and today's games have ancestors of their own. Step back in time and learn to play some of the most popular games from the middle ages: Courier Chess (a chess variant on a 8x12 board), the still popular Chinese/Japanese game Go, Goose (similar to Chutes & Ladders), a simple "put & take" type game called Gluckhaus, Tarot (a trick-taking game using a tarot deck), Hnaetafl ("viking chess"), 4-way chess called Chess of the Four Seasons, and Astrological Tables, which is essentially 7-player backgammon. All ages.
